Course Description:
CPD Credits: 1   Duration: 40 minutes     Access period: 30 days

Price: free for members, £15 for non-members

This online learning experience is a 40 minute course that holds 1 CDP credit upon completion. It is suitable for all healthcare professionals but it is particularly aimed at trainee doctors who lead busy teams and aspire to develop more effective delegation skills and get the very best out of their team to improve patient care.

By the end of the course, the learner will have considered and reflected on delegation theories and developed contextual strategies to help them improve their delegation language to better engage with the wider team.

Objectives

  • Identify key opportunities for, and roles in, delegation during high pressure clinical scenarios
  • Consider and reflect on delegation models to support a variety of clinical leadership situations
  • Develop contextual strategies to improve delegation language and outcomes within the wider team.
