This short course will help you to understand the benefits of developing emotional intelligence when dealing with colleagues and patients in your workplace.

Objectives

• reflect on how you can use emotional intelligence to improve communication;
• consider how mastering the emotional intelligence components of this course can improve patient care; and
• evaluate and consider the emotional intelligence of both yourself and your colleagues.
