‘A comprehensive interactive module developed by smoking cessation specialists. The module aims to develop healthcare professionals’ clinical knowledge around tobacco addiction and on prescribing stop smoking medications and management in order to better advise and support their patients.’
All clinicians require the confidence and the competence to provide appropriate advice and offer appropriate treatment for tobacco dependency. This educational module will support clinicians to develop these skills and embed them in their daily practice. Suitable for all clinicians e.g. GPs, outpatient clinics, inpatient wards - both trainees and consultant grade. Doctors and advanced nurse practitioners can prescribe this medication. To enable healthcare professionals to take responsibility for proactively addressing patients’ tobacco addiction.
